Golden Dragon

Used to get this place a lot since it was consistent and good (not great), then decided to try out other places around Astoria. Recently started ordering from here again and Im impressed! The boneless spareribs have much more meat (as opposed to fat) than they used to which is great. But the best thing is that its one of the only Chinese places Ive ordered from in recent memory that makes their General Tsos spicy. I eat spicy food rather frequently and while this isnt strong, it has much more spice than any other place Ive tried recently.

Going to be sticking with this place for the foreseeable future!

I am always looking for the perfect Sesame/General Tso Chicken and today I found it!!! This sauce was the perfect tangy/spicy to sweet ratio and the chicken was large succulent chunks with a good amount of broccoli.

Orange chicken is the best I've ever had, and it's nice that you can sub brown rice. Apple sticks and dim sum are great, too. I'll definitely order from here again.

Delicious, well-priced, nicely packaged, friendly on-time delivery!! Love the "no oil" option :) Definitely eating here again!!!

It took me a long time to settle on a Chinese place in Astoria, but Golden Dragon is it. Their food always arrives piping hot, anything fried is consistently crispy (which is hard for delivery!), the flavor is great, and delivery is ALWAYS on time. Go-tos are boiled meat dumplings, general tso's/sesame chicken, egg foo young, BBQ ribs...but really everything we've ever ordered has been great. Grateful for Golden Dragon!!

Don't understand how people can give this place a bad rating. Have been ordering from this place for years. Ok, food isn't top notch, but it's one of the best Chinese in the 'hood, and it always arrives hot. Delivery is fast and the person is courteous. Price is good too. What else do you expect? By the way I grow up in Hong Kong so I know what food Chinese food is.

I love this place. I've recently moved here from Chicago, a uber fan of chinese take-out. Golden Dragon was the first restaurant i ordered take-out from and has been my go to place each and everytime I crave sweet & sour shrimp.. _The best spring rolls and fried rice as well in Astoria, Qn's. -Love! I recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves chinese take-out.

I thought the food was going to be okay since I was basically ordering take out. But they really went above and beyond my expectations. The food was also really hot which was great because I didn't have to microwave it. Overall, it was one of the best sesame chickens I've had and I'm probably going to order again from here.

Always fresh and hot, and usually delivery is earlier than the estimated time. Yesterday I ordered from here, right after Snowmageddon 2016, and they still delivered during the estimated delivery time. The food was piping hot, also. Major props for that!
